Focus: For twenty years OWLS has offered a wide variety of Monthly Events including Luncheon Programs and Day Trips that have delighted participants from throughout the Milwaukee area.

The University of Wisconsin —Milwaukee is home to some amazing and internationally recognized resources. On Thursday, July 16, we will have a guided tour of the American Geographical Society Library.
This collection holds two million map-related items. The collection, formerly housed in New York City held a nation-wide search for its next home and was awarded to our own UWM.
In the afternoon we’ll visit the Manfred Olson Planetarium in the Physics Building, where we’ll see the “Scale of the Universe” program connecting us to the beauty of the night sky and the wonders of the cosmos.

Arrive CUMC at 8:15 a.m. Leave CUMC at 8:30 a.m. Return to CUMC at 3:30 p.m.
Maximum Participants is 40.
NOTE - this is an energetic tour where we will walk 2-3 blocks between each
of the campus locations throughout the day: Library and Planetarium.

OWLS Guests: $58
Your Trip Fee Covers: Round-trip coach bus travel, all admissions and a box lunch from Bunzel’s Meats & Catering.
