Community Cares
Through cards, calls, and visits, this ministry helps our church family feel remembered and cared for. In partnership with Pastor Tim, it reflects our mission to share Christ’s love through genuine connection.

Through cards, phone calls, and friendly visits, we’re creating intentional connections that remind people how deeply they are loved. Whether someone is healing, grieving, or just missing from our pews, we want them to know they’re not forgotten.
This ministry will be led in partnership with Pastor Tim, who is deeply committed to ensuring every person in our congregation feels connected and cared for. He will be making visits himself and providing ongoing guidance and spiritual support to those involved. Our church leadership stands firmly behind this initiative, recognizing it as a vital expression of our mission to be the hands and heart of Christ.
Pastoral Care & Care Facility Visitation
Caring for one another is at the heart of who we are at Community UMC. Our pastors and care team are honored to visit members and friends who are hospitalized, in rehabilitation, or homebound—offering prayer, conversation, and, when desired, the sacrament of Holy Communion.
Because hospitals no longer contact churches directly, we rely on you to help us stay informed. If you or someone you know from our church family is in the hospital, please call the church office at 262-782-4060 or email us. It’s also helpful to notify us when someone is released so that our care and prayers can continue.
Through these visits, we seek to bring comfort, connection, and the reminder that no one walks through illness or recovery alone.

Sometimes ongoing, one-on-one care is needed beyond a single visit. In these situations, a Stephen Minister may be assigned. Stephen Ministers are specially trained lay caregivers who provide confidential, Christ-centered support and encouragement to those walking through challenging seasons of life.
