Sometimes saying "yes" to God's call fills us with fear. We fear, just like Mary, when she was told she would give birth to the Messiah, that we aren't enough. That we'll be alone. That no one will listen. And yet, God calls us forward, inviting us to live fully into who we are created to be!

Sometimes saying "yes" to God's call fills us with fear. We fear, just like Mary, when she was told she would give birth to the Messiah, that we aren't enough. That we'll be alone. That no one will listen. And yet, God calls us forward, inviting us to live fully into who we are created to be and promising to be with us as we move forward through our fear, every step of the way. On December 14th, Community United Methodist Church's Festival Choir and Festival Orchestra present a musical reflection on what it means to say yes to God, featuring beloved Christmas carols and songs that remind us that courage isn't an absence of fear, but a choice that we make despite it.
