“Star-Word Tangle” (Zoom)

Time: 10:00 – 11:30 am
Join us for our January Zentangle Ministry session from the comfort of your home. We will create a tile featuring our 2025 “Star Word”. Your finished tile will be a beautiful way to display your Star Word for the year. Please email kimturmelczt@gmail.com or the church office to receive more information and the Zoom link. Are you NEW to Zentangle? Zentangle® is a relaxing and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns called tangles. Sessions are are led by Kim Turmel, CZT (Certified Zentangle Teacher). Zentangle artists of all levels (beginners to advanced) are welcome to attend our sessions.
♥ A reminder to ZM artists … If you are creating “Valentine’s Day Tiles of Encouragement” please turn in to Kim or the ZM mailbox on or before Sunday, Jan. 12.
Card Ministry + Notes of Love + Zentangle Ministry = ♥
WORKING TOGETHER… Several Zentangle Ministry artists have recently started creating “Tiles of Encouragement”, or little pieces of art with an encouraging verse or phrase. These tiles will be included in the beautiful handmade greeting cards made by Card Ministry. The greeting cards are mailed out 5 times a year by Notes of Love volunteers. These three CUMC ministries are working together to show love and caring from the congregation to those needing a little TLC in our church family. #WeAreCommunity
Have you wondered what Zentangle is all about?
Join us at an upcoming Zentangle session and learn something new! Zentangle is an easy-to-learn method of drawing repetitive patterns to create images that look quite complicated but are easy when we do it one step at a time. Zentangle drawing can be quite meditative and calming. Zentangle Ministry sessions are led by Kim Turmel CZT, and newcomers are welcome. No artistic experience is needed.
