New to Community United Methodist Church

Welcome!

Worship is at the heart of who we are at Community United Methodist Church Elm Grove.  While Reverend, Ron Retherford, preaches from his Wisconsin roots, the worship service and music are a mix of traditional as well as contemporary.  Community Church puts great emphasis on continuing Christian study with Sunday School Classes for all ages, and midweek Bible Study programs.  There are numerous opportunites to join smaller groups, which are constantly evolving and open to new members.

The congregation is committed to outreach into the community, both on an individual basis and in groups of volunteers.  Our gifts of time and talents are encouraged in many ways. We are a founding member of the "The Gathering" which feeding the hungry at two meal sites in Milwaukee. We work with our sister agencies United Methodist Childrens Services, Cooperating Congregations of Waukesha County  and many other agencies in our community and around the world.
