  Spring Cantata – April 18, 2010

Have you been yearning to sing in the Chancel Choir but can’t seem to commit to every Wednesday for rehearsal? Here is your chance to do some singing!

The Chancel Choir will present a Special Music Sunday on April 18 and many singers are needed. “A Legacy of Faith,” by Joseph Martin will be presented with narrator and chamber orchestra. A large choir will make this a most meaningful and joyous worship experience for all! Rehearsals started on Wednesday, February 24 however, it is not too late to jump in. Chancel Choir

Chancel Choir is our adult choir and meets on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00. Many styles of music are offered in a fast paced and fun rehearsal setting. In addition to singing in weekly worship, Chancel Choir presents cantatas, Mosaic Services and other special music Sundays throughout the year. No auditions required!

 Youth Choir

First Rehearsal: Begins on September 20th

Our Youth Choir sings in worship once or twice a month at both Contemporary and Traditional services.  Youth Choir presents, "Ye Olde Christmas Feaste", a Madrigal style dinner theater that raises funds for charity every other year.
Rehearsals are on Sunday evenings before Youth Fellowship from 5:30 to 6:30. Everyone in seventh through twelfth grades is encouraged to join.

Contemporary Musicians

Our Contemporary Musicians share in worship twice a month. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings at 7:30. This is a fun and energetic group who always welcomes new players.

 
Carol Choir

First Rehearsal: Sunday, September 13th

Carol Choir is for those children in Kindergarten - 2nd grade. They will meet Sunday mornings at 10:00 am before Sunday School in the large roon near the Sunday School office starting . They will sing in worship once a month and at the Christmas Pageant.

Hosanna Choir

First Rehearsal: Begins on September 16th 

Hosanna Choir is for children in third through sixth grades and rehearses from 6:15 to 7:00 on Wednesday evenings in the Choir Room. Children learn to praise God through singing, drama and instruments and share in worship once or twice a month.

Sunday School Singers

Sunday School Singers is for our very youngest children. The children practice as part of Sunday School and sing in worship two or three times a year.

Bronze Notes

First Rehearsal: Begins on September 16th 

Bronze Notes is our bell choir for young people in third grade through 8th grade and meets every Wednesday at 5:45 - 6:15pm. This is a relaxed and fun way to learn about hand bells and chimes. Bronze Notes play in worship a few times a semester. All are welcome!

Clarion Bells

First Rehearsal: Begins on September 9th 

Clarion Bells is our adult hand bell choir and plays in worship once or twice a month. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 to 7:15. Don't know much about music? No problem! Karen is an excellent teacher who will help you learn as you go.
